Nice sounding mic for vocals.
Good outer construction too.
Solid mic with tight connection points.
The sound quality of this microphone is crystal clear. I had no issues with reception or the occasional cracking sounds I'm used to. Is built out of a very nice material which feels solid and durable. It is very lite in weight.
As I expected, this is good for me
I am a huge fan of low-priced dynamic mics. As long as they work well. I perform in less than optimal sound stages, and I have a small venue myself, and I am constantly looking for inexpensive dynamic mics that sound good enough for Karaoke or one of my bar gigs, but magically don't disappear as often as my expensive ones. This mic I ordered with the most objective and important checklist of needs: Looks cool and at a lower price point. I thought this looked cool, and I have had some success with the Carry-On brand. This mic is actually really nice. It has a larger active sound range than a lot of cheaper mics, allowing me to sing or talk two fist-widths from the mic and still get reasonable volume. It has a pretty true sound, with reasonable depth from treble through bass. It has actually been a nice mic for my work meetings as well, providing a fuller sound without any feedback or echo. Overall, I can highly recommend this mic for those looking for a reasonably priced option for performing or speaking. I still use my higher-end mics for shows I will be recording, but for a plug and go mic that doesn't require a ton of EQ from your board, this is a great option.
