Bought it as a gift for a base player enthusiast. Great quality, it's been 6 months and is still sturdy, holds the base guitar perfectly and can easily take it to gigs. Completely recommend it!

I have been using this stand for about 2 years, but not for a guitar. It works perfectly for my Conn 8D French horn. The cork prevents potential scratching, the stand feels sturdy, it's easy to fold and transport to rehearsals or to leave set up at home. I think it would work with most single or double horns. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a reasonably priced horn stand.

My Strandberg does not have a traditional shape. My last stand was not wide enough or adjustable, making the guitar partially rest on the tuners/bridge. I wanted something aesthetically pleasing to look at but also provide enough cushion and stability. The stand passed the "earthquake" test with flying colors. The cushion covers the entire side where the guitar rests. I like that I could rest the guitar vertical or horizontal. Vertically the guitar is still a little offset but it is so stable that I'm not concerned.
