My 8 yr old boy recently fell out of his bike and even though he was wearing a helmet he still scratched his lower lip and chin. We were looking for a safe helmet that was cool enough for him to go back on his bike, this one does the trick and now all the kids in the neighborhood want the same helmet. HE wants to ride his bike every day just to wear the helmet. Very happy with my purchase.
